Okay, with the 3rd Saturday in October behind me, I am now ANXIOUSLY looking forward to coming to Knoxville. I am absolutely beside myself anticipating the beautiful drive to Knoxville, the scenery around the stadium (I hear nothing like it) and the atmosphere at game time. I am fortunate enough to be able to come up and watch the UT-USC game this Saturday. I was telling my wife about the "Splitting of the T" when the players run on to the field and cannot wait to witness that live. Its been well documented that Im a huge Bama fan, but a college football purist also. I love the tradition that you guys have up there and cannot wait until Im there witnessing it first hand. And by the way, you guys are still a HUGE rival in my book. You guys have a great program and will bounce back.

I hope you enjoy yourself and be safe. Also, don't go into convulsions when you watch our team and think you have stepped back in time and are watching your old Bama teams under Shula. It's alright your just watching UT. Your nightmare is over and ours is just beginning.

I don't know about that. I don't think anything can be as bad as Shula. Being down by ANY AMOUNT going into fourth=a loss. Also, 1st and goals=3 points.......sometimes. You guys will bounce back. That friggin white helmet with the huge "T" on it will always strike fear in me.

you wont see much of an atmosphere on sat. It will look and sound more like a funeral. These days you have to go to an early game to get a real feel for it. Have to make it there before they lose 3 or 4 games. Make sure you are there early enough for the vol walk and the band entrance . That will me more exciting than the game.

I hear ya! I got four together and am having family fly in from LA to see their first UT game. I am all decked out in Orange today at work. I can not wait until Saturday. I know of at least one person in Neyland who will be rocking. :)

What time is the Vol walk and where? My wife is a big UT fan and this would be awesome for her. I would like to see it also. Maybe give Fulmer a sucker punch or two, lol. This is our 12th anniversary weekend, so would like to make it great for her.

The Vol Walk should be at 5:30, and it will be down Peyton Manning Pass, right in front of the stadium.

Bull crap! I know thats a load because of what type of program you have. Im sure you are ready to kill someone after Saturday because I would be, but you guys have a big game again this Saturday. You all have an opportunity to hand it to the good ole ball coach. Come on, you can't tell me that would not be a little sweet. This is what makes college football so great! Each week is a big game and stands on its own merit, especially when you are in the SEC. Also, Im not delusional enough to think that my beloved bama won by such a margin because we are that much better. That is a load also. There were a lot of offensive calls that left me scratching my head, but nevetheless was pleased. One 3rd and short and you give it to a freshmen? Another 3rd and short (Foster gaining 7+ yards a carry) and you throw it and we bat it down? A few different calls here and there and we would have had a fourth quarter game. UT will bounce back this weekend as they usually do. Will be a good game Saturday night and when the "T" splits and the players come onto the field, last Saturday will be a distant memory. Looking forward to the trip and if you see a couple that looks a little lost and taking pics like a Chinese tourist, holler at us. Would love to talk to some great UT fans.
