5-1 going into bama game

The odds are largely against it (3-1 vs OU, UF, USC, Mizzou), but not totally unlikely. About a 30% chance, if you roughly agree with our chanches of winning:

Still over a 70% chance we are at least 4-2, which may be more realistic. But 5-1 isn't like a crazy long shot either...fingers crossed.

Yes, the Gators do suck. I can’t stand them, and even moreso, I can’t for the life of me understand why Tennessee can’t beat them for the majority of my lifetime. I don’t support those assholes and you know it. My overwhelming frustration is borne of seeing Tennessee lose to them year after year after year after year in every way imaginable, every way conceivable, no matter the circumstances, who the players are, who the coaches are, where and when the game is played.

We are freaking 7-27 since 1976, which is the first UT-Florida game I ever followed as a young boy. 7-27 vs our supposed rival in the East.....and 4 of those 7 wins over the last 44 years came in a 7year span when Fulmer beat them 4 times. That’s why I post, with tremendous frustration, what I post about the Tennessee-Florida football game, not because I “support” them, and you surely know that.

If we are the better team we always find a way to lose, and if they are the better team they kick our azz all over the field been hearing wait till next year after year, maybe this year with no fans in the stands we will beat there azz.

Tenn isn't losing all the big battle games this year. I think we end up 9-3 or 10-2. Of course one bounce of a ball can change things a little either way. I think we are going to get the sooners. I also think we are going to give the tide all it wants. I think we could win it, Georgia will be tough and we have to get over the florida hurdle and think we can this year but talk means nothing right now. We also have to be ready every week, there are plenty of games we could lose if we aren't ready every week. But the Vols are in the thick of it this year. GBO!!!!

I really wanted to say 10-2 and give us the win at Oklahoma, but the way we started the season last year and then again how we started and played for most of the bowl game against Indiana makes me a little concerned about how we play after long layoffs. And for some reason I really feel this is the year we break the Bama stranglehold they have on us. With no Tua and playing at home and the sense that Bama in general has gotten a little stale. So here is my totally baseless and meaningless 2020 predictions:

I think we are 4-2 going into Bama week, and transitioning from JG to HB. So I think we'll be 4-3, coming out. But trending upward. My predition is 8-4, overall, 5-3 in the SEC, a solid third in the East, and a better bowl. Ending up 9-4. Take your patience pills, folks.
