At some point late in the 4th quarter, Dobbs will have to either lead the team down the field for a touchdown to take the lead or convert 3 or more 1st downs to run out the clock to preserve the win.

Last year, all four losses resulted from the Vols' inability to do this. Also, the UGA and SCarolina games were never put away because of the offense's inability to sustain a late drive.

For Dobbs and this team to become Champions, they will have to get this done in the close games this year and it has to begin tomorrow.

Inb4 Dobbs will be sitting on the bench in 4th quarter because Vols have 3 TD lead

If you remember last year we had a chance to hit a field goal for the win..plenty of leg..wide right

I remember a poorly managed drive where they let too much time run off the clock and the Vols were forced to attempt a 55 yd FG. Medley had a chance to join Wilhoite in Vols legendary status but hit the upright. Great effort on his part.

I also remember a 3 and out on drive before UF's last TD drive where the Vols ran 3 vanilla plays and lost about 10 yds.

I remember Dobbs 4th quarter drive to take take the lead at Alabama, then the defense let them drive down the field in 3 min. and some change to win. You should be more worried about coaching in the 4th than Dobbs.

That was a very good drive to take the lead. Then Vols got the ball back with 2 min left in the game after Bama retook the lead to only fumble on the first play of the drive.

You can't argue that the Vols inability to put together sustained drives late in games was a major problem last year. Teams that are able to do that, win close games. Those that can't spend the offseason talking about how they need to find 25 points.

We have had little issue with scoring in 4th quarters this year. If this game goes to the 4th and is close we win. I believe Florida needs to have a two touchdown lead when the 4th starts if they want to win.

Sorry but no you cant blame the kicker for missing a 55 yard kick

No doubt. But in fairness, he would have missed from 25 yards. Missing field goals (from much snorter distances ) seem to be a theme the last couple of years.

God help us if it comes down to making a last second field goal this year. :banghead2:

Team 120 has shown great resolve and resiliency in the 4th quarter this season.

Yea not true. Medley is pretty automatic on anything less that 40 yards. Almost all of his misses are 40+ yard kicks. A good kicker should be able to hit in the 40-50 yard range about 80% of the time.

The game better be put away by early fourth or were not winning imo. I have zero faith for us to "finish" late in the game.
