Barring a change as a result of Reggie Theus bolting Las Cruces, New Mexico State will join UT, Texas, and West Virginia in Newark. Apparently, the tournament couldn't find an ACC or Big 10 team with an opening in their schedule.

Yikes. Hopefully theyll be the 4th seed in the final four of the tournament and well be the first.

I don't think it's a true tournament. I think we're just going to get a game against two of those three teams.

Cool, we could run our streak to 3 against the 'horns. Of course, they'll probably beat us this year just because we will be favored this time... maybe.

TN should be able to play with anybody this year. If we struggle this year I fear that it's because we'll have "too many chiefs, not enough Indians." I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case.

We should be alright against the Horns but don't be fooled by them. They may have lost Durant, but they return a young squad and with Rick Barnes at the helm they'll certainly be tough.

Believe me, I know. I hear about it on local sports talk all the time. Unfortunately for them, their #1 recruit, forgot the name already, is likely out for the season with a heart condition.
