Sports animal quoted UT folks as saying they were expecting about 40,000 fans for the OW game, and that 20,000 tix had already been sold.

That number would be the 2nd best ever.

I'm going to try my best. My nephew has a tee ball game out in West Knoxville so hopefully i can make it.

If the weather is nice, I won't be surprised if more than 40,000 show up

Do we know when they will open the gates to allow people in the stadium? Since it is first come first serve on seats.

I'm about to head out the door now on my way to Tennessee. Won't be on campus until Saturday early morning though. Can't wait, and see you at Calhouns.

I expect it to be around 50k. Nice weather, UT football, new staff, new energy in the program. I would be really surprised if it is less than 45k.

I'm kind of joking too, but I might boo just out of habit at this point. It will be like old times. CPF getting honored/propped up by the local media while the results on the field suck and the fans boo.

That will always make me think of my mid-twenties.

I guess it would be water under the bridge for most, but there will always be those that see it in another way. We have the same thing here in Aggieland.

That would be great to get 45-50k at the game. I already have my tickets. I am going to try and get ceo to sign my copy of "meat market" then i am on my way to calhoun's.

Sign your meat.... wow!! I've been feeling the Orange Swarm but not like that!

utsports.com is now reporting over 30,000 have been sold and that's not including all the students that will be there this could be bigger than we expect
