The guys putting these lists together typically just go by stats. They probably have never seen Jalen play an entire game.

They'll find out how great he is this year when we go 15-0.

Best RB in the country....no doubt.

I counted 8 RB's ahead of him. That's insane. I agree with 6-7 of them possibly bot not a couple of them. Gallman from Clemson & Royce Freeman from Oregon I don't think are better than Hurd for sure. They both are listed ahead of him. The other 6 RB's I can't argue against.

There aint a single RB better than Jalen. Only guy in his class is Fournette.

Its laughable to compare him to anyone else.

Well, considering that there are at least 16 running backs who rushed for more yards than Jalen last year who return to their teams this year.....and Jalen is ranked higher than approximately half of them....your statement that they're just looking at stats to make their list is wrong.

Btw, while Jalen is surely one of the top RBs in his conference and in the nation, he's neither the best running back in his conference nor the nation and anybody with any football sense/acumen knows that's the case....including your beloved NFL scouts and GMs.

That's your opinion. Just like the article this information provides it's opinion based. I think for you to say what you did above is just you being you D4H.

I'm a Vol fan too but there are other good football players that go to other colleges whether you like it or not. :)

"That low"? How many hundreds of Division 1 running backs are there? 128 teams, 1-2 running backs per team he's being compared to and ranked against. So, they're pretty much saying he's 8th out of 128-256 running backs.....in the top 3-6% of all RBs in the country. I don't think that's slighting him at all. It's actually pretty good for a guy who's never had a 50 yard run, a game more than 155 yards and averaged 4.6 yards per carry last year.

I'll have to look it up again, but I think Hurd averaged 4.6 ypc last year. Of that only 1.9 ypc were gained on average before contact. Think about that... over half his yards were gained without assistance.
