Wright is absolutely not playing out of position. He was a better talent than Morris when he came to UT. Should have been at LT earlier.

MANY college teams have a similar personnel setup

remember Brandon Scherff from Iowa being considered one of the best OT's in college for Iowa and is now a Guard for the Washington Football Team.

I believe Derek Barnett schooled him in bowl game but I could be wrong.

Mays is the only lineman playing out of position.

We're playing the best we have. It is what it is. Hopefully Heupel and the staff can get the most out of this team, and recruit well moving forward. Lord knows we're due.

Mays has played about as much at OT as OG.

My apologies, I thought Wright had played guard last year.

Nobody is playing out of position. Wright was always a tackle and Mays can easily pay four OL positions. He thinks he'll be a guard in the NFL, but he's a fine college tackle.

Mays routinely played and graded well at OT while at UGA. What da problem is?

I think Mays is better fit at guard. But he's played everywhere and is a solid NFL prospect, so there's really no cause for concern.

Mays has played about as much at OT as OG.

Cade is a natural guard, but if the staff has him playing at tackle any this year, it'll be because, for better or worse, he is the best option at tackle, so I'm fine with it. I do think Cade plays at a higher level at guard.
