i wanna see boise get blown out more than any other team

Only a matter of time. I think they're gonna go down hard this year to a pushover quality opponent (in other words -- take your pick from their schedule).

I think Boise is a legit team, and I think they deserve a NC shot if they are undefeated at the end of the season. They have proven year in and year out that they can beat the "big boys." They beat Oklahoma, they beat Oregon twice, they've beaten TCU, they beat Va Tech, and Georgia in Atlanta.

This is why we need a playoff.

Covered the spread, too, thanks to that late touchdown. Thought they wouldn't for a little while.

Great excuse.

It's hilarious how Virginia Tech will get absolutely no crap for their pathetic schedule while probably going 12-0 and yet Boise is.

A one loss team deserve to go over an undefeated Boise State team.

Tennessee should withdraw from the SEC if going undefeated in the Sunbelt or CUSA gets them a shot at the championship. Why bother playing Florida, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Alabama and LSU this season if they can get a shot at the championship for beating FIU, Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Troy and Lousiana Monroe.

People defending Boise State can't be serious... "But they had two good wins while going undefeated". Is USC better than Bama? Utah handled Bama but just lost to a depleted USC team. Who gives a crap if they win one or two big games a year. Boise State looked good against TCU in 2009 and Nevada in 2010... oh wait. Would love to see them play a combination of Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina. Let's assume they play 5 of those teams in a season and then scheduled at least one quality opponent out of conference... let's seem them go unbeaten when they have 6 quality opponents and a couple more opponents better than anyone else in the WAC or MWC. Yeah right...

And I'll take Georgia and TCU over UNC, Miami, and Clemson any day.

A Georgia team that just lost their wide receivers and has one runningback? A TCU team that lost their QB in the 2nd round?

You're letting your heart rule over logical thinking. You sound like a closet Boise St. fan

Yeah, definitely a closet Boise State fan over here. Send a few blue + orange (no, not that blue + orange) shirts my way here in Knoxville to add to my collection of no Boise State clothing or accessories or fanship of any kind.

No one's winning this debate until Boise proves one way or another that they could compete week in and week out in a high-level conference. That's why I hope they won't get left at the altar in this realignment mess. BSU is a great program, no matter what anyone says.

Pac-12 won't take them because of academic standards and the fact that the plans for 16 are pretty much in place w/ Oklahoma/Oklahoma State/Texas/Texas Tech. Maybe the B12 tries to stay alive and takes them? Who knows

those two teams have been fairly good until this year, georgia slightly less

have many years have we heard boise crap? all the good teams they've beat extends over like 4 seasons.

i would've actually put TCU in the same boast as boise,at least they manned up and joined a conference that has some competition

The same people naming Alabama as the #2 team in the country are naming Boise St. the #4 team in the country. Go figure.

They can't penalize boise for that if they didn't penalize ohio state for the same thing.

Maybe toledo can go out and win the mac?
