I do not want to like Pruitt. I was raised to hate all things bama. Can't help that. But he's winning me over. Dammit. :)

Stop asking me how I can still be a Tennessee fan. If you don't have the balls to keep loving something when nobody else understands, that's on you. We'll see if you're still wearing that ugly ass bama shirt when saban is gone.

For the third straight week, I've woke up on Sunday feeling better about Tennessee football than I did the week before. I did NOT see that coming!!

4th - this one's a bonus
I hope we stomp the ever lovin' **** out of muschumps' team next Saturday. I cannot STAND that arrogant piece of garbage.

GO VOLS!!!
We actually have a football coach.

Not a slogan spewing, carnival barking, trumpet boy who would all he could think of was his next gimmick, his next saying...

Or not a pretty hair, precious boy who quit half way in to his second season.

The players are still fighting for him and it shows.
I think the way Bama was treated by the refs last night pissed him off and I think his blood runs a little more orange after this game.

I think coach Jeremy is becoming all in on Tennessee. Speaking of mushchump I hope the Vols stomp his cocks into the turf. A couple of years ago after they won in Neyland the on field reporter asked him something like how did he feel about the win. He said I’m just glad we’re sending all these people home unhappy. If I could’ve punched him through the tv I would’ve.

I liked Pruitt from the start. He's Fulmer's choice and he can't be a bad one no matter where he played and coached. Emotions are an iffy thing compared to actual thought.

I agree with you usually vollygirl so I watch your posts. Very well stated. I think the chasm of talent and effort are starting to be remedied and am looking forward to us finishing strong this season and building with a great recruiting class if we win the ones we are capable of winning. Saturday showed me that the coaches game plans and on the field execution are making steady progress but our lack of depth is still glaring. The fact that our remaining games will hinge on freshman quarterback is telling but I believe Pruitt has them giving everything they have! Effort can sometimes trump talent so I can't wait to see #4!!!!

Spot on. I feel the exact same way. Which is odd considering we have lost two of our last three games and are on pace to have a historically bad season. LOL. But we are seeing improvement every week by our players. I would’ve added to your list 5. I think we had the best offensive line on the field yesterday. When was the last time we have been able to say that?
Pruitt’s great shortcoming was his inability to recognize how bad of a player jg is. After we lost to ga state and BYU he made the comment that “everyone that’s been around this program knows jg is the best qb”. That was one of the dumbest comments I’d ever heard a coach say. We’ve seen jg play for 3 years and it’s almost impossible hat we have even a single qb on the roster that wouldn’t be better than him if given the opportunity. I’m not so sure that we don’t have receivers and running backs that would be better than Jg if given the opportunity. So I thought I’d never support Pruitt after that debacle. But I find myself liking he guy and feeling as optimistic about the future as I have in a long time. Seeing a bunch of our players develop and come together along with some creative play design and passion out of the coaches has me doing a 180 on this staff. I’m not completely sold yet but feeling a lot better.
Agree with this. Told a friend during the game, my only real beef with Pruitt at this point was his inability to see or admit how truly inept JG is. Average QB play puts us at 4-3 at a minimum, 6-1 best case. The team has improved in every area from game to game with the exception of JG (and the punting game -WTH is up with that?). It was apparent by halftime of the BYU game, it was time to yank JG. After the overthrow to Woods-Anderson in the Florida game, I wanted Pruitt fired for continuing to do the opposite of what was painfully obvious. Despite that, Pruitt is showing ability to develop players and improve. At this point of the season, that's really what matters.
