I used to mark the 3rd Saturday in October on my calender. This was the most important game of the year, outside of Florida. It was for bragging rights over the gumps. The day we had a chance to shut them up.

Now, its just the 3rd Slaughterday in October sponsored by an inept UT Administration. The one that gives bonuses and extensions for mediocre football. An admin afraid another school will sweep in and steal coaches that cant beat Florida, Bama, or Georgia and get spanked at home vs Kentucky.

This, combined with the fanbase losing its faith in the team and AD, this means we will suffer more 3rd Slaughterdays in the future

We are no longer a rival of Alabama. We are just another win on their schedule

In reality, we are just another win for most SEC teams now.

Along with Auburn, we seem to be competing for the title of "second-tier SEC champion" or something similar.

Growing up in and currently living in Alabama, this has always been and will always be, the biggest game of the year for me. I haven’t had bragging rights over my friends since elementary school. Would love for that to change today, but I don’t see it happening for a while. I hate what this game has become.

Yeah, I hate going into this game just knowing we're going to get whipped. It just sucks. We're not Tennessee anymore. Its like we're some crappy great value version of what we used to be.

Too many bad hires and coaches changes have doomed our program the last 15 yrs and yet there are still some that are calling for another one. The cycle may never end.
So what is it then? Bad hires or coaching changes that have doomed our program?

You are contradicting yourself.

No I didn't contradict myself. How about I resay it for you. Too many coaching changes and all have been bad hires. Does that help you?

Can't just give up. Gotta keep hiring and firing until we get a winner. What are you, his brother or something?
