Obviously, in order to end the streak against LSU or Auburn we would need to face one of them in the SEC title game. I think a TN v. LSU game in Atlanta is likely.

My prediction is that we lose to Florida & Alabama again. However, other S.E.C. teams help us out by beating Florida and we take the back door to the S.E.C. Championship game. See 2007's season as an example.

Once in the S.E.C. championship game, we play L.S.U., we stop Leonard F. and the running game. Then we put pressure on their q.b. and do not allow him to throw the ball.

With two losses for the season, we don't qualify for the play offs so we go to a major bowl game.

Too be fair I think Northwestern would have had a very good chance to beat UF(with Treon), Arkansas, and Georgia last year. I have never understood why that win is discredited. I attribute it to "battered fan syndrome." In other words, just because UT smoked some team, then they must not have been that good. I say all this assuming that you meant OU, UF, Ark, Bama, and UGA as the five best teams we played. I would honestly add NU as the fourth or fifth best team, if you add them to that list of teams, from last year.

Don't know who NW might've beaten last year on our schedule, no way to know. I don't believe they would have beaten any of the 5 best teams we played at all, jmo. Im only pointing out that that NW team was not your typical 10 win, Top 20 team in terms of athletes and talent and while I was thrilled with the blow out win, i don't have any illusions with who it was we beat....it was men vs boys in Tampa.

If UT won the SEC but didn't make the playoffs, they'd just go to the Sugar Bowl. That's the only possibility with that scenario as far as this year goes.
