Now that the problem in the backfield is gone from the program, it is time for the fellas that wanna be at UT to shine!! Hope the staff goes nuts running the ball and gives plenty of burn to Kelly, Kamara (when back) and Fils-Aime

Huge opportunity for Kelly and Fils-Aime right now!!!!!!

This is a garbage post.

The problem wasn't Hurd. If anything it was Butch for signing him.

Hurd being gone does not make our coaches competent, nor our QB and OL play somewhat resembling of a D1 school.

Why don't you think Butch is the problem? It's his philosophy, he hired the assistants, he recruits the players...

Uh, this offensive line still leaks like a sieve no matter who is taking snaps or getting the hand offs.

So we praise Butch for signing Hurd a few years ago because of his talent.

But now that Hurd is causing locker problens because of his attitude, it's Butchs fault for signing him a few years ago. The problem is Hurd and his attitude. It's that simple.

Still doesn't change the fact this offense is horrible and predictable...And I thought Fulmers offense was predictable, Butches is worse.

So if Hurd was the problem with the offense then answer this for me, who looked like the senior QB Saturday night? Sure as hell wasn't Dobbs and thats coaching. A well coached senior qb should have had a stat game Saturday night. These guys have been let down by the CBJ system.

I dunno.. I respectfully disagree. Two things I'm going on:
1) Hurd doesn't make the trip to A&M. Kamara lights it up.

2) Watching John Kelly run - refreshing to me to see a back not fall down on first contact and show some bursts of speed, in spite of the OL. Have rarely seen that with Hurd this season.

Maybe these two can keep the 3rd and longs from coming.

As for Fil-Aimes... Yep, he had a mistake. Happens when you haven't been in a meaningful game with meaningful snaps. He'll be fine.

I agree. Hurd a few players said if he didn't leave, they would. Don't know if that's true or not but he seems to be a cancer, so hopefully problem solved. We'll see...
