do yourself a favor and bet on duke to win. it is the team vegas and the ncaa wants to win. there is a reason they were put in the easiest bracket.
Again, you can't argue with that logic.
I vehemently disagree. As far as I'm concerned any use of that word is a racist remark. It is the height of hypocrisy for black folks to casually call each other that word and have it prominent in their music but get highly offended if a white person says it. If it's offensive when a white person says it then it should be offensive when anybody says it.Andrew shouldn't have said it, especially in that setting. Bad decision.
That said, I don't think that his intent was to be racist. That word loses its racial semantic when not uttered by a white person.
If he had said "eff that Pollack/Honky/Cracker," then yeah, it's racist.
Was it offensive and derogatory? Yep. He should have apologized. But I don't think that it was intended as a racial slur.
not a uk fan and I have duke winning it all. if you think vegas does not play a huge roll in who wins then you have no logic. ncaa is a huge money maker for me. I took Wisconsin and the 5 pts for an easy win last night. the badgers should be the favorites against the devils. will be some more easy money when the devils win.
So Vegas plays a huge "roll" in who wins basketball games?
Or does Vegas play a huge "roll" in who makes money off the outcome of basketball games?

UF would have lost to UK in football had it not been for the refs missing a delay of game --- there is a reason why 'all star' hand picked refs do these FF games and do you really think the Mafia is dead ?

Yes, cause UK's bracket was so didficult. They were gifted the worst 2 seed whom they raped earlier in the season and that 2 didn't even make it out of the first weekend.
Utah was perhaps the toughest 5 and a team that spent half the season in the top 10, Gonzaga was the trendy pick to give UK fits if they were to meet, given their size. Both difficult tests for Duke. I fail to see the easy bracket argument. Wisconsin by far had the most difficult road.
Who is saying UK had an easy path? They had a nice path to the final four. And they should have. #1 overall seed that is 34-0 deserves to have the easiest run. But gimme Zaga, MSU, and SDSU over the matchups we had. Only matchup that is clearly easier was the 5 seed like you said. Maryland would have been a bit closer.
No one is saying UK had an easy path, that's the point. UK boards are sitting around *****ing that Duke had such an easy path.
SDSU is the 5th largest team in the country, they may have given yall more fits than an undersized Cincy. That's why this is all about match ups and pointless in saying one team had an easier path than another. I guess Duke had the toughest bracket last year since Mercer put them out game 1? UK vs Gonzaga it's possible their size and shooting ability, like Wisconsin, puts UK out in the E8 and we're not even talking about this.
UK fans complaining about Duke's gift wrapped bracket look pathetic. If you're the best team it shouldn't matter who's in front of you, take care of business. UK didn't, now someone else will hang a banner and add a trophy to the shelf.
I have to agree with the uk fans on this one. I was so confident duke would make the finals I put a grand on them at 8 to 1 to win it all. duke had a free ride to the final 4. UK had a free ride to the elite 8. ND would have beat Kansas anyway and was one of the hottest teams coming into the tourney. Wisconsin had the toughest road by far. this year reminds me of 2010 when they gift wrapped duke a NC. that was another good year as well.
