Its not laziness, its just more complicated to code for the PS3 and the game software developers warned Sony of this when they were in development for the tri cell. This isnt every game though, BF3 for instance, was developed for the PC and PS3 and ported to the 360.

True. The very first one I played religiously on local multiplayer for a year or two and on the dorm local network with my roommate. I never beat the story and really only played it online because it was the "social" online game at the time, like CoD is today. I really enjoyed the multiplayer, though.

Sony has them coded on Xbox and then ported to PS3, they just have a contract with their developer that they can't release the Xbox version. It's that much easier to code for the Xbox.

Although the PS3 and 360 are better than the Wii and I voted for the 360, I give Nintendo credit for targeting a certain group, e.g. young kids, older people.
