Sucks we still have unsold seats. Bet there will be a lot of red there. I'll know one of them since my BIL will be there. He was speechless at the Boise debacle but he's been getting cocky here lately. I'm saving my talk for post game.

There absolutely has to be 350 people in or around the Knoxville are that have nothing better to do on a Saturday than spend it with 100 thousand of their closest fans. I'd go but I live in Illinois.

You think 350 people will end up with a ticket each? After they filter through the money grubbing hands of those ticket pimps, maybe. I bet those usual ticket scalpers already have those 350 seats, along with another 30,000 seats, in their fists, ready for Saturday.....how an individual can end up with a four inch stack of tickets to ANY game, much less, a big game, is beyond me......The ONLY thing good about a UT losing season, is the scalpers take a bath......:detective:

I never talk till the game is over. I'm just not that confident that my 20 yrg Olds are better than theirs. That's why I've still got hope for Bama and the lsu game. They both look good but its still a bunch of kids out there.

Why the hatred toward the scalpers?

If you attend road games you'll quickly learn that ticket scalping actually makes seats available. Try getting into games in states where ticket scalping is illegal. It's the same 80,000 fans at every game and there is NO market on the streets for tickets.

The only people paying $100/ticket on the street are the ones willing to get conned. There's ALWAYS cheap tixs available and ultimately you can thank the legal scalping laws for that.

The last time I went to a Georgia game at Neyland was 2007 and that going in through gate 10 was the first time that I have ever felt claustrophobic in my life. Place will be packed Saturday night.

What did you pay to park? They threw in a parking pass Right. LOL

I park in outer space (no secrets there, but the exercise is good).

I never buy before gameday. I always buy within an hour of kickoff. If you see a decent number of tickets on the street...they can be had for cheap.

Patience is the key (don't buy early)...don't stand around...aggressively move through the crowd and just let it be known you need a ticket (hold up two fingers so people can see you).

The most I've paid the last three years is $20. The demand just isn't there.

Tickets get harder to obtain if you try to seat 3 or more together...goodluck with that.

Yeah, I got two in X5 for 10 each at the Cinny game. Paid the same to park. The guy that I got them from told me he gave just under 2,000 a year for the seats counting contribution.

I didn't see but how many were allotted to Georgia?

9,800. The SEC requires schools to make 10% of the total seats available to be sold, to the opponent. The opponent has two deadlines to return unsold tickets. If a school has sold less than half of their allotment, they must return a large portion of the unsold tickets in the summer. They must return the remainder a week and a half before the game.

I wonder if they used all 9800?
