Hope Wilcox doesn't go to this defense again in 2011

Hurts and LOL'd at the same time.

Would be excited for the 3-4. Still waiting to see if it can catch on in college like it has in the NFL.

Though with our quality at LB (or lack thereof) I would hope to see it used sparingly for the time being.

Actually the 3-4 makes sense to some degree, the outside linebackers would most likely be Jacques Smith and Willie Bohannon with Maggit and Veeran (passing downs) in the rotation while the line would consist of Malik and Miller at the ends and either Couch, Hood , Carson rotating at the DT. I guess the middle linebackers would be Austin Johnson and Herman Lathers when he returns with AJ and Christian Harris in the rotation.

Exactly. And most of the teams run in the SEC anyways. That's why I would be worried if we went 3-3-5 as our base defense.

Speed over strength.

The 3-3-5 is a good way to combat the Auburn's and spread options IF you don't have a dominate defensive front four.

Jacques could probably play outside in a 3-4, but that's it out of our DEs. I don't think we have the personnel to play 3-4 consistently outside of special situations, but I'm interested to see what Wilcox comes up with.

Willie Bohannon could too.

I don't think that we have enough solid linebackers to run a 3-4. There is a lot of inexperience on the second level. I personally dislike a 3-4 because it does make it easy for lineman to get to our LB's. Because of our inexperience I think that would be a recipe for disaster. I like the 4-3 because it gives us more size not to mention, we do not have a true noseguard that can anchor a 3-4.

**Disclaimer** I believe that our coaching staff will put us in the best possible defense to win. I trust in our coaches and if a 3-4 is Wilcox's decision I trust him.....These coaches know more than me and all of us on here for that matter.
