How about we just drop cupcake games, play a 10-game conference schedule and move the bowl games to before the playoffs, so bowl games matter, and we can get a clearer picture of conference strength before the playoffs.

Yes! Let's do it! The current 64-plus team structure of the NCAA tournament is WAY TOO MANY teams.

I want to see more like 24, with a first round of 8, second round of 16 (both played on campuses).

First round would be chaos. Second round could be dull.

I’ve always liked the idea of 8 or 16. Preferably 16 with zero byes, much like the NCAA tournament. The discrepancies in depth can be large in CFB, so I like everyone playing the same number of games
