31-19

They went on a 28-0 run while we stumbled around like a team fill of 7th grades. Scoring against the back ups with 27 seconds to go, doesn't put any polish on this turd.

Fits the pattern. We come out with a decent amount of progress and actually enjoy a lead. Then after the opposing coaches adjust to what we're doing, we are a ball of confusion while the other team puts up a run of points on us and effectively puts the game out of reach because we will not adjust ourselves to take advantage of the openings their alterations provide us.

We know Fla is not going to run the ball, yet we do not put pressure on the QB. We have not put pressure on any QB. Any guy who can throw the ball at all, will eat us up when he has all day to throw the ball.

Any coach who has not seen this, ( and we apparently do not ANY coach who has noticed it), should actually try another profession. Jay Graham may be the only real coach we have.

We have had some bad seasons, but this has to be the most frustrating. We are absolutely wasting a lot of individual talent. Sad!

It's embarrassing that it's come to this...We "only lost 31-19"...I know I'm gonna get razzed for saying this as a rival fan, but that's sad as hell...I grew up as a fan through the 90's, there wasn't a game I looked more forward to besides Trashlahasse Tech more than the TSIS....I'm not trying to be that faux-sympathetic, d-bag fan who says nice things about the struggling rival, but it's legitimately brutal that y'all have fallen this far...Some of my best (and worst) memories are wrapped up in this game, it really sucks that it doesn't put that fire in my belly like it used to...I hope y'all get it fixed somehow, seriously.

The one thing tying Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, and Pruitt together rests in the fact that each of them were lacking the maturity to be a head coach in this kind of situation. We keep hiring this kind of coach, expecting that we will somehow get lucky and come up with the next Captain Neyland or Doug Dickey who will build a powerhouse. We instead get the college football equivalent of a 13 year old who doesn't know a damn thing about rebuilding a football team.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. We are where we are because we continue hiring people who aren't prepared to do this job.

Everyone is talking about the QB decisions and the offense, rightfully so...but the defense was terrible. All three levels, that’s Pruitt’s wheelhouse, just bad.

Don't believe it was against back ups, Trask played till the end. Fl wanted to win as big as possible. Scoring with 27 sec left showed no quit, I like that.

Well, from a defensive standpoint, Saban himself has admitted that a good defense can no longer stop a good offense, so the solution is to have a good offense. I thought HB handled himself well and made good decisions. Of course we didn't get any breaks either. The well executed fake punt that was dropped, tipped balls that fell harmlessly to the turf, etc.

Over the course of the season, if ya average 20, and give up 31...I ain’t real sure that’s what Saban means.

The common denominator was none of these guys were P5 HC's. We are a historically relevant Top 10 Football school but don't go after a proven P5 coach. Just inexcusable. We have done this 4 times in a row, expecting different results. So your Wash - Rinse - Repeat is appropriate.
UF had 4 win season , they went after Chip Kelly & Mullen who had been an Coordinator at a P5 and was a HC at a P5.
We go for our longest shot yet Pruitt who had never been a HC, think about that.
At least Dooley , Kiffin & Butch had been HC's.

It would help if anybody with experience wanted the job. We could have Saban and I bet it would take 6 years. We'd say he was washed up here in year 3. He used to be good, etc...This the toughest conference in the land. With every game a dog fight and the top teams in the country on the schedule every year, every top coach knows it's not a good place to succeed. Everybody is good. If everybody is good, you are just going to be average.

I would take a guy who has been through the pressure of rebuilding a program. I would love to find a head coach with proven experience rebuilding programs. After experiencing the Four Horsemen of the Big Orange Apocalypse, we need to bring in an adult who has been there and done that successfully.

I think your overreacting. I have no problem playing another Qb when the game was decided and it was mop-up time and do not believe Bailey’s confidence will be hurt. If it does hurt his confidence then he is not the Qb we thought he was anyway.
He is no Bray. Bray was a 3 star.

Alabamas offensive line is so good, they will roll Florida.
F'bama when Saban finally retires the death star will be destroyed.
Mac Jones never gets touched, just like all the other nobody quarterbacks who have played under Saban.
Non of them ever even last but a couple years in the NFL.
You don't get 5 seconds in the nfl

???? Well, you gotta score as many as it takes to win. If you have to score 60 because the other team is in the 50's then you gotta be able to do it even if you have a great defense. I think defenses tend to get better as the year goes on, while experienced offenses can take advantage of inexperienced defenses early in the year, ie, us vs. Florida in the 90's. No way we beat them in September of 2001. Sad that we would have beat them almost every year had the game been played late in the year. My point is, Bama seems to be shutting teams down now, while their offense is still putting up massive numbers of points just as they did early on when they really needed the points to win. When an equal opponent comes along, you gotta have the horses on offense to put up as many points as it takes to win.
