I am going to bet the house that we do not cover. Have you known for us to cover when the spread is that much?

I am going to say we probably could cover that spread but CPF wont let it get that far away...we will probably win by like 18-20 imo...so if the spread is that high come friday i am going to throw some money on it to...

This is a coaching staff that will take its foot off the pedal if they get ahead by 4 or 5 touchdowns. Nothing but dives up the middle if we have a big lead. I don't think we'll cover.

I don't know about covering but I can tell you this much, I always seemed to get bent over by the Vols so there's NO WAY I'd bet the house on that spread.

I'm betting we get by 7 and then just play to protect the lead.

No doubt. The last time I bet any serious money on the Vols was the 2000 Homecoming game. We were favored by like 56 vs LA Monroe and there was off and on rain. I figure that there is no way we score that many points in the rain. We win 70-3. Needless to say I made about two house payments for the local bookie.

I think fulmer runs it up to keep his job. UT 65 LL 20

Agree, I think for the first time Fulmer will try to run up the score to silence critics and give the team confidence. The question is if we can do it. The Ragin Cajuns only lost to USCe by 14 and had chances in the 4th quarter.

Thats tough. I dont think I would make that bet either way. Now if just had money to throw away I would be more likely to bet they didnt cover that spread.

From 2001-now, UT is 6-5 ATS with spreads of 21 or more.

4-2 in 2001 and 2002.

When 27+, 1-1.

I'm not a betting man, but I think I may have to find a source and bet on that one. I don't think TN will cover a 30 point spread. With 3 losses there is no such thing as a bad win. At this point, it is ONLY about winning by any amount.

I just hope the Vols win. I've got a feeling that this game will be alot closer than most think. Fulmer's teams, as of late, have trouble getting prepared for a game like this. If the Vols do not come with their "A" game, things could get interesting.

As long as we can run the football we should beat them. I'll go ahead and say if Arian rushes for 100+ yards it's a done deal.

The way our season has been going shouldn't you say something more along the lines of "Listen to me people, we won't score more than 3 in the second half?" Even against Alabama we managed two scores before halftime.
