Got to meet several players at the hotel last night. What i learned:

1. McCullers, Tiny, Ja'wuan and Z. Fulton are lean. Plenty of beef (no homo) little fat.

2. Tyler Bray is a quality person. After all the summer crap a had a question about his maturity and what kink of person he really is. Forget about it! He's the real deal.

3. The closeness of the team (no homo). They seem like a big family. It was good to see the comradery between players. imo without comradery no team can reach its true potential.

p.s. Sitting in hotel room trying not to go crazy. Anybody know a good place to waste a few hours in ATL?

GBO:dance2:

Theres a lot of stuff to do in ATL.... My suggestion would be to go to the Aquarium, its downtown and most likely close to you. You can check out the World of Coke located next door as well as Centennial Olympic Park. Go to the Varsity for Atlantas famous greasy food or J.R. Cricketts across the street for some of the best wings in town. That should keep you busy until its time to start tailgating. GBO!!!

Go eat at the Brazilian Steakhouse across from Hard Rock downtown! Lunch is cheaper, but it is a very quality place!

Kind of sad that two cities with a lot of culture and completely different are blocked into the same category due to the people who are perceived to inhabit it....

I dont have a perception of Atlanta, but I can speak to the reality of Memphis.

According to the 2006–2008 American Community

Survey, the racial composition of Memphis was: [21]

Black or African American: 62.6% White: 31.7% (Non-Hispanic Whites: 29.5%) Hispanic or Latino (of any race): 5.0% Asian: 1.7% Native American: 0.2% Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander: 0.1% Some other race: 2.7% Two or more races: 1.2%

Having said that I lived there 5 years and enjoyed my time, but was ready to move back to Knoxville.
