If not for a hail marry, it's 4 straight losses
App st could have easily been a loss if not for a fumble recovery in the end zone. Team could have 5 losses right now and all these dummies talking about pump the brakes would look silly right now..

Look at Clemson's progress. Our coach is NOT Saban or Meyer. They have other places to coach where it is easier to win. I'm not saying Butch is the end all answer but the guys deserves a LOT of credit for what he has done

Oh trust me, Im VERY aware.

I don't need a Saban or Meyer. Id be happy with a Harbuagh or Peterson or Dabo. There's a few more I can think of that I'd rather have than Lyle.

I get A&M and Alabama (although not the margin of defeat)

I really am in shock about this one.

But, frankly, I'm in shock they have yet to put four above average quarters together in the same game. Not once have they performed well from start to finish.

:eek:hmy: :eek:hmy: I found what we are doing with our bricks.

Oh god please don't threaten with some stupid inside blue font slam. Please please spare me

Man your original post was laughable. I don't know how anyone can make excuses for this staff.

That loss is about as bad as it gets. We just come off a bye-week!!

At what point do people realize it takes a while to rebuild a program that was as low as it gets in the SEC. Not excusing this loss but we ain't there yet

Its been 4 years which means everyone on the team is one of HIS recruits, everyone of the coaches are his hires. The building is finished and its the run down shack from the Beverly Hillbillies not the Taj Mahal. He has officially run out of bricks and mortar...he has reached his plateau...his elevator is as high as it will go and he is still in the basement...you get my meaning???

BTW....I predicted the 2 losses in our four game tough stretch and possibility of this loss...if we lose to Vanderbilt, i am lighting my torch, because it will be time to burn the fracking house down..

What's laughable is taking about firing a coach that has dramatically improved the overall team mid season just because you're mad ...

Any idiot that defends Butch at this point has it twisted. If I hear the "it takes time" sh*t anymore I'm going to flip.

Wake up and get your head out of your a**.

Butch is NOT the guy.

He improved it from the bottom of the barrel. We literally couldn't go anywhere but up. However, he's hit his plateau. It's time to go to the next level.

I hate agreeing with a Gator. But it is the truth.

This whole season they have looked like a very poorly coached team. Undisciplined, consistently out of position (Butch's words, not mine), not winning their one on one match ups, blah, blah, blah, etc..
This points the finger directly at Butch. I have to believe anybody (any other coach, etc.) outside of Tennessee, is thinking exactly that. There is no evidence of any improvement in the future. It's time to move on.

My personal opinions that Butch is a great recruiter but not a great manager/coach. They need to fire the old man Debord and hire someone who can run the offense game day and behind the scenes. He needs a Cutcliff

When we took 2 timeouts in row and gave up a 15 yard sack.. that was the tipping point for me... Jones is all hyoe and little results...SC should have been buried tonight .. no excuses

this.Needed 1 TO to figure out not to kick a 47 yarder, needed another to run same play he had just called. Then lines up for 58 FG later.

shalford89 answered this quite well.

We just got beat by a QB that can't even buy a pack of cigarettes yet :)

That is a huge problem.
