Our team is not over confident but they are definitely confident! I think our fans are the ones over confident but we don't play the game! That's why CLK and the staff will keep these guys humble and make sure they give 110% EVERY game!

Let's GO VOLS!!! Stomp a hole in the Bruins!!!

OK, :post-4-1090547912:. I swear, this writer must be doing the best crack cocaine journalist money can buy, because if he thinks that UCLA is going to roll into Knoxville and knock us off, he's off his damn rocker. Atmosphere is going to be way too much, Tennessee will drum UCLA and then we can start worrying about possibly getting beat because then we start to play real competition in the SEC and only in the SEC.

agreed. That guy seemed to contradict himself every other sentence. West coast pansy.

I'm just wondering if these were the same comments made last year when UT lost to a 4-8 team without it's two starting QB's? It's funny what a win over a team that was not even D-1 in 2008 means to fans. Now, Tennessee fans think they are Florida after one win? Wow, Myopia at it's best. No way a blow out is in the cards and UCLA will have a legitimate shot at the win. It will be a close game regardless.

And where is this real competition in the SEC coming from? Florida and Alabama are very good this year but everyone else is average to slightly above (and that is the case most years where only 3 teams are legitimate powers while the rest are middle of the road or horrible as in MSU, Kentucky, Vandy etc.). The SEC also has more teams than most conferences so they have more opportunities to succeed record wise every year. That does not mean the SEC is the holy grail. After Florida (clearly the class of the league after dominating it two of the last 3 seasons), who would even sniff a shot at a BCS title game this year???

I would take USC, CAL, ASU, Oregon St and UCLA against the top 5 SEC teams (Florida, Bama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee) any day of the week on a "neutral site" at the end of the year. The second worst team in the Pac-10played LSU tough and out gained them for cryin out loud.

I have not heard anyone talk about how both these D's have been facing the same offense since this last spring. Well UCLA has been facing it in practice for over a year. Does that put any concerns in your alls minds? I think our offense might have slight hickup this week with the knowlege UCLA's D has on our offense. Just looking for some opinions.

Wouldn't that work both ways? It really doesn't matter because I fully believe UCLA's defense is going to get wrecked. I would be amazed if they have any gas left by the middle of the 3rd quarter..

It was said in an earlier post, but I feel compelled to somewhat repeat it..."It's a shame when good sarcasm is lost on most people."

That article is completely retarded. I cannot stand bias reporting. I have followed Coach Kiffen since he arrived at Tennessee and I have not seen him try to destory our program. Only thing that I have seen him do is restore us back to the national media. With him doin that look at the recruits that he is bringin. If anyone tried to destroy our program it was fulmer. I just wished everyone would get off Kiffen's back and see what he can do.

granted ucla is not w.k. but anyone who thinks this is the same vol team from last year is crazy. vols will light it up and the defense will be head hunting,to prove they are for real gators better not get big head.

The only SEC team that I could say would lose to UCLA with some certainty is MSU. And Prince would still throw 3 Ints against their D.
