One thing you can count on when talking an VN is no rationality. If you say anything negative, you're an idiot. If you only say positive stuff, you're VFL.
We aren't good. We weren't supposed to be as good as we are. We got some surprisingly good results earlier in the season. Everyone went to the junk drawer in the kitchen and dug out their orange colored glasses. Then they decided that if we didn't get to the playoffs, we should implode the stadium and become a ballet school.
We are going to lose at least 2 more games. JA has been great but those picks were going to catch up to him at some point in the season. It did just before halftime. Predictable. Will likely happen again this season. At some pivotal moment in one of our games, he'll inexplicably throw another intercept and cost us the game. I'm not mad at him for it. We knew who we were taking home when we brought him her. More importantly, the defense is poor. We knew that last year was an anomaly. Our D has been bad for years.last year was a flash in the pan.
But....but.....PLAYOFFS!?!?!?!
We aren't, and at no time during the season been a playoff caliber team. We gave GA a run for their money. But on a neutral field, they would have beat us as bad as AL. I would rather not make the playoffs than get in and get throttled in the first round.
We have to get to the root of why we play so poorly on the road. That's a big deal.
