I see three more losses on our schedule and that’s assuming we pull this game out today. Our defense is atrocious and we can’t run the ball as well as last season which will make our offense one dimensional. 8-4 is what this team is and will be at the end of the season. Heup needs to get a new DC and S&C coach too and we gotta get bigger D-Linemen asap on the defense.

Today plus the GA loss showed that this team has numerous flaws but can be in a position to win against anybody. Unfortunately I just don’t ever see a Heupel team playing an A+ performance against a conference opponent again.

I'm hoping Heup has Bama's number the way they have UGA's. I am gonna say 9-3 this year instead of 8-4. Miss St was our road stinker for the year and the team survived it. That's progress in a way.

A new DC? He was a finalist for the Broyles Award last year.

And now, a lot of people act like a game like this is the end of the World? We should've played better, I will concede to that. But we played, and defeated, a really good team on the road today. Starkville is a tough place to play and Mississippi State plays well at home. And we had to also overcome the officials as well. Just be thankful we came out of the game today with a W. Are some of you ever happy?

A "really good team" is porbably an exaggeration. I think state has 3-4 more losses headed their way. But, we came up clutch when it mattered. Games like these can help.
