Now that we have gotten past FL what are your predictions for the next 3 games? Will you be satisfied is we lose 2 of the next 3 and win out the season?

I hope we win all of them, but as long as we get to the SEC championship I'll be happy!

If the 2nd half Vols can generate consistency, and if Dobbs throws the ball like he did vs Fla, this is a dangerous football team vs anybody. Very capable of 2-1/3-0 in this stretch.

We have to go 2-1 here, UF could get del rio back and potentially finish their conference schedule without a loss and would go to the conference title.

I fully expect the Vols to beat Jawja, A&M, and Bammer.

The Vols now know what its like to WIN and know they can hang with any team....... so bring them on!

Alabama looks unbeatable...BUT...I thought that last yr and we came close to doing it. Man...who knows. If the 2nd half Vols from Saturday show up consistently...we could win out. A BIG "IF"...but the ability is there.

As long as we beat Georgia I'm happy. A win over Georgia firmly puts UT in the driver seat to win the east.

2-1...but i will not be disappointed losing to TAMU or Bama if we play our hearts out, both are really good teams. I still think we somehow beat one of them though. Containing Trevor Knight is going to be a tall task.

The scary part of this team, the potential is there to go either way.

If we go 4 quarters like Florida 2nd half Saturday will be so bad someone may call the ASPCA.

If we go halves like we did last week the Bama and A&m game will not be pretty for us.

The raw talent is there to hang with anyone on the schedule IF and only IF we play complete 1st and 2nd half games.

This... I'm scared Florida will win out. Their games in the west are LSU and Arkansas. Both winnable... If we lose to aTm and Bama they could go to Atl instead of us and get the last laugh.

I believe LSU will beat Florida. Arkansas has two weeks to prepare for Florida and Arkansas plays this game, at home. Georgia and Florida still have to play each other. I would love nothing more than going 2-1 or 3-0 but I don't believe it's a back breaker if we go 1-2.

IMO both Florida and UGA will have at least two conference losses. If we beat UGA then we own both tiebreakers.

We can lose to TAMU and Bama and as long as we take care of the rest of the East we will be going to atlanta.

Beating Georgia is huge. More huge than losing to TAMU or Bama which would be more style/national attention wins.

I would love to see 3-0, but if we come out playing flat against A&M and Bama and go down by 21 or more there isn't going to be much hope for a come back, especially against Bama.
I think 1-2. I'd be VERY happy with 2-1 and I would go out of my mind with 3-0.

Bama gave up a ton of points tof Ole piss. I'm not so sure we can't overcome 21 points in our own stadium.

I could see us beat Georgia and then loose to aTm then come out and have a big win over Bama and the fans will storm the field.

The advantage I believe we hold against Bama is the fact they have a Freshman QB coming to Neyland, which will be off the charts loud. I know he is a good QB, but if the crowd can effect him early and not let them neutralize the crowd, we could very well win that game.

The A&M game is a tall task, but once again, if the 2nd half Vols come out and put 60+ minutes in, we have no reason why we can't play right with or beat A&M.

I'm still tempering my expectations, however, as I don't want to be let down if things go south. I'll choose to be the pleasantly surprised if things don't.

True, but I will be cautiously optimistic, because as a vol fan I have become so anxious about these games. I used to just pray they wouldn't get blown out, now thinking they have a chance to win is so foreign to me, I don't know what to do with myself. Half of me feels like if I am confident they will win I am breaking some superstitious law and then they will lose. :whistling::thud:

I need help! LOL:crazy:

No reason why Vols can't win all 3 games. No team is unbeatable. Shoops defense will put Jalen Hurts on his back a lot of the game.Bama game is very winnable in my opinion. Arkansas is the only team Texas A&M had played that was good so that game can go either way
