Three games in the books, so here is my report card:

QB - D, 7 INT's and play calling is affected because of it. No down field passing game.

RB - A. Very impressed with Hardesty and Brown.

WR - C, poor route running and dropped passes vs. UCLA. Lack of big plays from the position.

OL - C, played well vs. W. KY and Florida, but unable to punch it in on 1st and goal vs. UCLA.

DL - B, we have been able to rush the passer with 4 lineman.

LB - A, was supposed to be our weak spot on defense, but it has been a surprise. McCoy and Reviez are everywhere and Thompson has played well also.

DB - A, Berry is awesome. Jackson looks like a future EB. No one has been able to pass on our secondary yet.

Special Teams - B, Lincoln 4 for 4 on FGs, Cunningham has punted well. Coverage teams have beek OK. Kickoffs lack distance.

Coaching - A, team is well prepared for the games and play hard and physical for 60 minutes.

Fair assessment. I would like to point out that, if not for a few awry plays here and there, we might be 3-0 right now. We're not all that bad off.

I disagree with the OL getting a C. I felt their inefficiency against UCLA was due to injury. And against UF, we ran well against a 8 and 9 man front the whole game. I would at least give them a B.

I agree with the OP's original assessment but with this modification. The OL has been a pleasant surprise.

If QB is a D, what possible fail does one have to do to earn an F?

Go opening scene of Last Boy Scout style all over your entire team and coaching staff?

Really, I am curious.
