Name your Top 3 Tennessee football teams in the last 15 years.
These are my Top 3 teams in No Order. :hi:
2001 UT Vols
Record: 11-2
Best Win: #3 Florida @ Florida
Games UT Lost: UGA (26-24) // LSU (31-20)
So much talent. In my opinion a better offense in 2001, than the 98' National Championship team. By far Clausen's best year. Great Wide Recievers (Stallworth, Washington, and Tight End Jason Witten). We had Travis Stephens who was small but speedy and awesome to watch against Florida. One major choke job against LSU in the SEC Title Game, that cost us a trip to the Rose Bowl to play in the National Championship game against Miami (Which has been considered the best team of all-time). Instead went on to beat Michigan 45-17.
1998 UT Vols (National Champions)
Record: 13-0
Best Win: #2 Florida State // National Championship
Games UT Lost: None!
:dance2:
Great Team, tons of talent, alot of close calls, a team of Destiny. Great QB (Tee Martin) Great Runningbacks ( Travis Henry, Jamal Lewis). Standout WR (Peerless Price) Great Defense led by Al Wilson! That team had it all...
1995 UT Vols
Record: 11-1
Best Win: #6 Ohio State
Games UT Lost: #2 Florida (62-37)
Once again, another great team. Peyton Manning was brilliant that year but once again couldn't beat Florida. Well lets just say he probably could have if the D' shows up that game. With that said, alot of talent & this was the year UT became a dynasty of its own, as they took that year and turned it into a 45-5 run, 1 National Championship and 2 SEC Championships over the next 4 years.
