I can't believe this. I really can't.

Does anyone really believe Phil Fulmer would allow Lane Kiffin anywhere near the University of Tennessee?

For any reason, forget coaching football.

If he truly wanted to win, he’d hire him and let bygones be bygones.

He won't, but he should. Because we would like to win again sooner than later.

Yes please
Bring Back Lane!
Please Phil

Too divisive.

But you weren't listening closely to Fulmer presser, apparently.

He said he was going to find someone who loves being at Tennessee and appreciates what a great place it is.

That is defintely not Lane. Fulmer might as well have said "**** Kiffin". :p

So the only way we can win is hire Kiffin? Hmmm, interesting.

If this was a week ago and Currie/Schiano thing not happened, I’d say Kiffin isn’t only option.

A lot of decent options are going elsewhere or told us no.

Kiffin is only serious coach that isn’t a project coach and only coach that would take our job right now who’s motivations aren’t financial. . Literally right now. His game is over.

Kiffin said he loved Tennessee. It was in his contract he could leave for USC. That's ad fault. Kiffin has learned and would be great.
But if it's true that Les is on campus and would bring tee as OC. I like that also

Lol at all the people saying Lane is immature but still holding a grudge from almost ten years ago.

Dude straight up told everyone with ears that he would leave for USC and then stuck by his word.

Not his fault our AD couldnt write a contract to save their own ass.

Lane Kiffin WOULD beat Alabama. He’s worked there. He knows Saban.

He’s learned his lesson and has been through the ringer of a divorce, been fired at an airport and tutored under the best coach in cfb history. If he got back to a major program he wouldn’t mess it up. He would take a special delight in kicking Sabans ass. You can take that to the bank.

But of course. All the “adults” don’t want to win football, they want a choir boy who talks gentle and doesn’t say bad words. Day dreamers.

Kiffin loved Tennessee but he loved Southern California more. Now that he is down on his luck, he wants his old job back. Phil Fulmer loves Tennessee with all his heart and mind and now is in charge of the coaching search. I think if enough of the die hard Kiffin fans sent new AD Fulmer a Christmas card congratulating him on his new job and kindly suggested that Kiffin be his pick for Vols coach it just might work. Also tell him that FAU improved from 3 - 9 to 10 - 3 - this is fantastic news.

So how do we know all of the coaches that told us no really did? Were they even offered?

Also, how do we know for a fact that Kiffin wont be offered?

If Philip was serious about what he said yesterday, about getting back to winning then there is absolutely no reason Kiffin shouldn't be in his top 3.

If he isn't serious about winning, then sure. Cross Kiffin off, along with a half dozen others and let's get back to more questionable hires.

Personally, I hope Fulmer is serious about winning. I imagine you feel the same way.
