Everyone agrees that we are better off now, but I would like to see some thoughts on where the "Stars" of this Soap Opera will be in 3-5 ???

Monty- hopefully retired and Happy spending time with G-Kids

O- HC at Sweetwater High

Lane- prolly a coach at a Mid-major/Ghost story for kids in TN...:D

DD, on his way to his 4th BCS Bowl, and a NC Trophy.:clapping:

good question, let me look into my crystal ball.......:question:

KIFFY and USC get major penalties.....after recruiting uphill for 3-4 years and doing well, but realizing it's not as easy as he thought, Kiffy boy decides to take an NFL HC job again, as daddy hangs it up.

Eddy O. who is totally burned out of recruiting, takes a HC job at a Western D-1 school, to make some bigger bank, before getting run out of town......again......:rock2:

Dooley, meanwhile, restores UT to national prominence, and turns down UGA after Richt gets the can.........

3-4 years Lane is begging his dad not to retire and Orgeron not to leave to coach in the NFL.

We are alternating losing close games to Florida and Bama (one each year) and playing in the capital one bowl.

Kiffin has at least 1 new crystal football.

Monte is playing golf living in Florida.

O is the dline coach at USC. The man has no goals in life after he crapped his pants at Ole Miss. He knows hes a recruiter and nothing more.

Richt gets "canned" next year.....:cray: No way he stays after this upcoming disaster.... I will miss the easy W he is creating.

You know, one thing that scares me is that if Dooley's going to be successful, a lot of that success is going to hinge on recruiting GA well. If he recruits GA well, UGA will suffer, and Richt goes. Who is UGA then going to turn to? A guy who can recruit GA well. Gotta think DD will be at the top of the list (assuming he at least wins one SEC title).

If DD leaves UT for GA after winning a SEC Title then Lame's exit will look like a parade !

What if in 3-4 years Tennessee and USC meet in a bowl game, with present coaches still intact, and Tennessee LOSES? How pissed will you be?(Especially if it's for the NC):popcorn:

If that happens when UGA comes to town I will be throwing everything and anything and spend the night in the slammer.

Dang I love Hat's posts !!! So Funny ! Of course your correct, but it was for fun to see where people thought the 2 Coaches would lead their teams . That is the perfect "Hat" response .......... I love it !!!

Dooley is coaching in the Outback or Capital One.
Kiffin is playing in a BCS bowl and has a top 3 recruiting class locked up.

I would hope for that match up ! I told a friend tonight the exact same thing. We will beat them in that scenario, all the pressure would be on them. We would be Battle tested from SEC and they would be celebrating 2 weeks before hand. Essentially they would over look us like FSU and get HOUSED just the same !

I know !!! I am still laughing at him ..... He is sooo funny in his own way. I really don't care for his posts, thoughts, or BB IQ but he makes me laugh !!!
I am just waiting on a good topic for him and LG to really get into....2 incredibly smart Dumbasses argueing over their percieved intelligence !!!

"post number 1 downfall of the trojens" i know usc ended up with one of the top two or three classes but they will get probation and lose atleast 1 year of tv and bowl games and no chanch to win pac 10 for 1 or 2 years and a reduction of recruits,and it will hurt usc even with the talent they have had they had a bad season last year under pete carroll and in a couple of years time some ex usc players will leak proof of where they were giving benefits ranging from giving them thousands of dollars to expensive cars and houses for their familyand they will learn that kiffen and the boosters kept up doing major violations after carroll left and during and after the probation they will be on starting during the 2010-2011 season and if kiffen dont bolt for nfl ,he will see the almost complete distinction of the usc football program they may be the first team since smu after eric dickerson went pro and smu got the death penalty.usc will get it because the school has absolutely no control of the mens athletics and the football team especially.it will take atleast 10 to 15 years for the football program at usc to recover and pete carroll and lane kiffen will me rememberd as the two coaches that destroyed the once mighty trojens program.

Dude, you hate all of our coaches and do nothing but rag on pearl and CDD, what is your deal? In another thread earlier and I can't remember word for word but the gist of what u were saying was when kiffen left UT had to hire a second rate loser to replace him. I'm sorry but that's the dumbest post I've ever read. If you hate everything about UT why do u hang around on this site? Go be a mod for USC or Fla. Or start following and writting about Roy Williams and UNC cause they are doing so great.... Pearl has coached better than just about anyone else in the entire nation this year especially from Jan 1, on. As for CDD its to early for people to be saying DD can't hack it and is a loser. DD might not be a big name now but I guarantee you he will be in 2-4 years from now but I'm sure you will still find something to whine about. I'm not trying to attack you, just over your hatred for all the coaches.

I get that you think that Dooley was absolutely the wrong choice for HC. I don't blame you. The record of his team in a weak conference suggests disaster for Tennessee. But I won't hold that as an absolute. I can't say whether he will succeed or won't. All I want to know of Coach Dooley is can he do these three things:

1. Recruit well
2. Have a well prepared team that plays hard for the entire game
3. No off the field nonsense (arrests and the such)

Dooley has salvaged our recruiting class plain and simple. You can say that Kiffin did lay the foundation, but Dooley kept it together and added what he could,a few skill guys. Good start.

Now it's a waiting game. We have to wait and see what happens on the field. I get the impression that Dooley is not a man that takes a challenge like being the HC at Tennessee lightly. He is going to work his butt off and with a little smarts, which he has, he might just get us there. After today I feel better about him.
