3-4 defense....

Prefers a 3-4 but will adapt to the strengths of his roster. As HC, I assume his recruiting will reflect a desired shift from 4-3 to 3-4.

Good, cuz I don't think we have more than 3 - 4 decent LB's around here right now. To be honest, I want to see how we use Warrior. He has been exciting to watch and we will end up in 5 DB sets most of the time anyway. I would love to see NW in a rover type of role!

While I doubt he changes to a 3-4 in his first year, just keep in mind that what Sunsuri did is not typical. He was a crap coach.

In 1985, coach Ken Donahue, in his first season, changed from 4-3 to 3-4 and took us to a Sugar Bowl win and a top 5 finish.

3-4 defense isn't bad, it needs the right coach.

No one to play NT and it is vital in a 3-4

Khalil is more suited to that than he ever was at DT. Crosby has a spot now and Brant Lawless coming up this class. Hardly “no one”.
