Well, it seems most of the so-called leaders on the left couldn't wait to characterize it as unsustainable or somehow not praiseworthy.
It's not sustainable.
Fox radio had already pointed out it was due to the run up to get things done before the tariffs.
If it lasts for a year, I will absolutely change my position on trump. 180 degrees.
Until then, history tells us it's nothing to get worked up about. Remember, Obama had 4 or 5 quarters of 4%+ growth.

Well, honestly, both sides do this. If you aren't in power, you play to the weaknesses of the party that is. I remember when Clinton was in office and the economy was rolling, budget was balanced. Was hard, as a Republican, to argue against that.Dims hate it when the economy is good because their dependents become less dependent. The only way they get a vote is by tagging a bribe to it but if needs are met its hard to fire up the base. Mexicans will be the 1st to turn on them when they preach taking us back to 1% growth and 8% unemployment.
I notice gas prices are going up. Wages are flat. The economic success of corporations and the 1 percent may not translate to middle class come November
Federal gas tax is 18.4 cents /gallon, and Florida state tax is 36.59 cents/gallon.....one of the highest in the nation. Tennessee's is 22.4 cents.I notice gas prices are going up. Wages are flat. The economic success of corporations and the 1 percent may not translate to middle class come November
Wages up 3% on last jobs report. More jobs open than people to fill them. Go in any service related business and see how braindead the current staff are. Anyone with a consistent pulse has gotten a better job.I notice gas prices are going up. Wages are flat. Not exactly. In the business world, projected earnings can be as real as actual. It influences your cash position and capital expenditure planning.
