LSU. That way I could continue to hate Alabama and Florida . They're the only other team I can think of that plays both of those teams every single year.

Was always a fan of “Tailback U” Southern Cal growing up.

Was named after Billy Cannon Heisman winner at LSU, plus they can occasionally beat Bama.

Have always been a Clemson fan since the Homer Jordan and Terry Kinard days.

Big fan of Coastal Carolina, like the name and colors and play a lot of golf in that area.

Secondary degree from ETSU.

All that being said ... it’s really just The VOLS for me and no other team really matters much.

I think you're right.

But to play along like you...

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. I've like their nickname since I was a kid. And now their football program is strong with Billy Napier. Yeah, I know it's not his destination job, but you can't get to that job if you do poorly in the one you're currently in.

ETSU. My parents met and graduated from there. Dad lettered in football and baseball there in the late 40s.

Auburn. Like others commenting on this thread, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That, and one of my son's best friends got his master's from there and stayed in the area to teach ag and coach football.

I guess since my oldest daughter is a student there, I would throw my support behind the Razorbacks.

I went to a Texas game with a buddy of mine a few years ago and had a lot of fun. I don't find TX fans as irritating as Aggies, as long as we can avoid the whole "real UT" argument.

I'd probably just go back solely to following the Raiders in the NFL. Penn State used to be my 2nd favorite college team but after what went down there....I just can't anymore. I know, I know. Joe Pa is no longer there. Jerry Sandusky is no longer there. None of the coaches and staff remain there. None of the administration remain there. I get it! They cleaned house, AS THEY SHOULD HAVE. In spite of all that, I still think Penn State didn't get punished hard enough and I just cannot in good conscience ever pull for a program that was associated with anything as heinous as that.
