Perhaps try not being in such a hurry to make someone look bad or point out a mistake. Read it like this. Starting August 3 there will be 27 - 30 players that are new or weren’t available during the spring.

If we shock a team or two, that takes us to 10 or 11 wins. The other 9 won't be shocked when we put a smack down in them. That's the one thing that they will be familiar with, what it feels like to get beat by the Vols(It will be new to WVU.)

Bring on 2018 schedule. I'm glad we have time to keep improving.

It would be nice to get a pass on so many injuries.

West Virginia
Florida
Georgia
Alabama
Auburn...

and one of either Mizzou or South Carolina.

We're just not that good and key injuries WILL happen. They always do.

Exactly,some are in a such a rush to prove something wrong or point out negatives.

We smack someone in the mouth because they took us too lightly and out coach Mizzou/ USCjr

We are going to have enough coached up talent to keep us in most games , and avoid the crazy number of injuries that has plagued us more than our fair share lately .

So Pruitt said nothing about starters, but you thought he said we will have 27-30 new starters?

Pruitt suggested that 27 to 30 players who did not participate in last month's spring game will be available in the fall as some return from injury and others arrive on campus for the first time.

I'm hopeful that the addition of these new players will not only add quality depth but also push the guys that have already been here to another level, especially the ones JP mentioned after the spring game.

What teams would it "shock" to lose to us?

Not that many.

Sure they would be disappointed for not taking advantage of their chance to beat us, but they wouldn't be shocked.

Maybe WVU would be shocked. They are at the greatest disadvantage of everyone on our schedule. There's no game film other than the O&W game for them to study in preparing for us., we know what they will be doing and can develop a game plan to maximize our strengths and counter their's

We showed about every look in the book on offense and defense. They all have a lot to prepare for this year when facing us. No team will be able to bum rush us based off formation, like they were able to when Butch was here.

Maybe to get ready on offense, they could study Bama's tendencies on defense over the last season or two, and like wise watch our new offensive coach's past for his likes and by the way, paying attention to what Bama has done on offense my give insights to our game plans early on...

I’m glad we’re getting some help but rarely do freshmen and grad transfers save the day especially in the SEC.
