25 Vol concussions? Really Butch Jones? Hid in the dark?

That number sounds big, but honestly I'm not sure it's really that abnormal. It's just a function of the game and the fact that they've gotten better at identifying brain injuries.

Well, it might’ve been, but I don’t recall that number of reports during the season though? I remember Tuttles, falling on a helmet. Maybe Wolf?

Was he referring to just this season? I thought in the interview he was referring to his last few seasons here.

We did lead the nation in Non-Starts in 2016 & 2017
2016 = 57 non starts
& 2017= 82 Non Starts new Power 5 record.
How many were concussion not sure but
without Dobbs in 2016 we would have gone from 9-4 to 6-7
Dobbs was durable and masked a terrible O line

To be fair, Butch did do some things that the Vols have NEVER seen.....like LOSE 8 FREAKING GAMES and NO SEC WINS in 1 season. I'm guessing he is proud of that! :thud:

Depends on what he was referring to. We haven’t won three straight bowl games since 1994. Still needed to be fired.

Goofy drills like Circle of Life and Bull in the Ring could, saying it is a possibility, could put players at extra risk of concussions and other injuries. I understand you have to hit, but my preference is they do it simulating game conditions rather than just executing sumo matches to get coaches fired up.

Maybe my math is wrong, but didn't we win a National Championship 19 years ago?

If this guy would've learned anything from his time here, you would think it would be to talk less...
