Bragging about players success during his stint as the special teams coordinator at Ole Miss during the Hugh freeze era on his bio is all I need to see. What do bagmen at Indiana give to players? Snickers fun size???

WGWTFA
Snickers fun size ain’t even a full size bar. They better buckle those chin straps extra tight the second half.or they’re going to get curb stomped by Jennings.

Indiana's defense throughout the year:
All year: 24.5 points allowed on average
Conference play: 33 points allowed on average
Against teams with a .500 record or better: 41 points allowed on average

They gave up 40 points to Michigan State. We should be able to methodically move the ball. The defense on our end will be key to winning.

i'm not going to tell you that Indiana is garbage. they're not....they went 8-4 in what many consider the deepest conf this year....and their stats on offense are what htey are. they're very balanced overall.

but...

the schedule is indicative of a team that did two things.....1. beat the teams they should have 2. lost to the teams the should have.

in their 8 wins, not a single victory they recorded was against a team with a .500 record or better. EVERY single W they got was against a sub .500 team, total w/l record of Indiana's W's: 25-71...their best win....Ball state or Nebraska, both of whom finished 5-7, everyone else they beat had WORSE records.

their 4 losses were to the only 4 teams that did have a .500 or better record:
total w/l record of the teams they lost to: 38-11 (OSU, Mich, MSU, PSU)

I know that their QB Michael Penix Jr. was committed to Tennessee for a while but then followed Mike DeBord to Indiana. That is pretty much the only thing I know about them.

• Allen has achieved unparalleled recruiting success. IU’s 2019 signing class is the highest rated in program history, besting the previous top-ranked class of 2018, and included a record five four-star prospects.

Exactly. I just looked this up. The past 4 years they have finished recruiting anywhere from the 30's to the 60's as far as final ranking. Tennessee out talents them no doubt. If the Vols can just play decent then we should win no problem.

Let's not be arrogant--what teams with winning records did we beat? Miss State and AUB. Anyone else?
