Can't speak for him, but I think to most average Tennessee fans, getting the Berry twins would be a symbolic gesture that we are on the way back to greatness. I agree with you that they may be down the list a bit, but with their bloodlines, they deff aren't too far from the top.

Totally agree, I think its not a make or break issue but more of a want to continue the history of the Berrys, and they are talented so real them VFL in CBJ :good!:

this kid(less recruited player) ,whom is in a community program with Josh Malone, says that "Ohio st is showing him a lot of love." The kid (whom I work with) went on to say he was sure Malone would wind up in Knoxville.

Would love to have them be Vols for all the reasons you stated. Plus, they're obviously good players who can help. But we just don't hear much from or of them and I think we've got guys higher on the board that would make our class a little stronger.

this is close to where i come down. would be great to have a couple more berry's don the orange & white, and you can't fill an entire class with nothing but 4's & 5's.

but, they do not seem to be highly sought after prospects. not sure what the signing of two average 3 stars would symbolize?

All of a sudden we are too good for the Berry twins??? C'mon man. I remember not too long ago everybody was drooling over them,and now because of a recruiting surge we dont want them. EB would be ashamed.

Don't misunderstand. Not too good for the twins at all.... would love to and hope we do sign them. Just responding to somebody saying they are the most important recruits in this class. Just don't think that's true at all.

i don't think anyone is saying we are too good for the berry twins.
some are simply questioning statements made by others that they are the most important gets of this recruiting cycle, which simply is not true.
