You're B1tching about polls it'll fix itself in the next two weeks just beat Georgia.
I'm not b1tching about anything. You said we would know about Oklahoma Saturday night. If they beat another team that was mediocre last season but have an inflated preseason ranking, what will that actually tell anyone about how good Oklahoma is?

How do you drop Texas 6 spots for losing to the #1 on the road by basically a half yard, while only dropping Notre Dame 3 spots?
Easy. They have to keep ND close to or in the Top 10 to ensure they make the playoffs. So if, realistically, they stay Top 8-13 and only lose one more, then they have the argument to make the playoffs. The fact they get a carve out just for their name is complete 🐂 💩.

It really doesn't matter for any SEC or Big-10 team you get plenty of chances to move up by winning games but if you're in the ACC or Big-12 you have a more difficult time doing because of SOS.

The only rankings that matters is the CFP rankings and as long as Tennessee is within the top 11 and above I'm good... These early season polls are just for entertainment and fan reaction...

SCAR at #10 is laughable.
Yea, I think they’re a good team but beating VT doesn’t make you a top 10 team anymore than beating Syracuse does…both South Carolina and Tennessee had good wins in their season openers but way too early to jump to conclusion….

Now Alabama just sucks and that’s objective fact! 😂

I agree with that point. What is stupid about the preseason polls is they aren't really based on any tangible data, just what writers think about teams before the season starts with bias going toward the biggest brands. Eventually, it will work itself out to a degree. However, teams like Alabama can get trucked by an unranked FSU who only won 1 FBS game last season(2 total wins) and still be ranked higher than Tennessee, who dominated a Syracuse team that won 10 games last year in the same conference as FSU al because of who they thought would be good before anyone played a game.
