I mentioned it in another thread, the top 7 teams in the SEC in home winning % are 105-7 at home, this year.
I've been quoting that stat you mentioned to people in conversation since you posted it. It just blows my mind that there's that many wins to that few losses. Hopefully the court in Tampa is neutral enough that it will even the playing field some and let teams show their mettle. I would love (obviously) for us to win the tourney and obliterate all competition beyond what seems realistic and fair; but, a super competitive tournament would be great to see for once. I'm getting sick of the same old UK domination of fans in the stands. I want to see every team not wearing the orange and white lose. And the more gut wrenching for them, the better.

Tampa is really an unfair environment for the majority of SEC schools. Especially unfair for Missouri, Arkansas, Texas A&M, etc.

I realize something called airplanes were invented a while back, but still really is ridiculous to expect fans to travel literally halfway across the country for a conference tournament. Why not just pick a middle area and rotate amongst 2 or 3 cities. I know this would benefit Tennessee more than anyone while schools like Texas A&M, Florida, Missouri and Arkansas would still be penalized (but to a lesser degree than Tampa), but better than the below in my opinion:

Driving Distance per School:
17 hours from Columbia, Missouri
17 hours from Fayetteville, Arkansas
15 hours from College Station, Texas
12 hours from Lexington, Kentucky
11.5 hours from Oxford, Mississippi
11 hours from Starkville, Mississippi
10.5 hours from Nashville, Tennessee
10 hours from Baton Rouge, Louisiana
10 hours from Knoxville, Tennessee
9 hours from Tuscaloosa, Alabama
7.5 hours from Columbia, South Carolina
7 hours from Athens, Georgia
7 hours from Auburn, Alabama
2 hours from Gainesville, Florida
