makes you wonder dont it hillbilly. how can it be human when our government says it aint human at 21 weeks? maybe we are wrong to call it a baby. maybe we ought to say (21 week old fetus is alive and well and going home with its mom)!!!!!!!

This story is all over the news down here. I am simply amazed at medical technology. They showed some shots of he child at birth on the local news. The child appeared to be the size of a bullfrog. It's amazing to see the youngster doing well now.

Speaking as somebody who loses keys and cell phones on a regular basis, I'm glad that I wasn't in charge of caring for that baby.

I like this story for two reasons:
1. It is a really nice story with a happy ending.
2. It took some camera time away from the Anna Nicole Smith circus down here.

The technology is astounding. I had a set of twins born at 25 weeks at well closer to 1 lb each than 2 lbs. Roller coaster of a fight, but an unbelievable process to watch. We were hospitalized for nearly four months, but 10 years ago we likely would have never brought them home. Absolutely astounding.

This article is starting to give me second thoughts on the abortion topic.. That's incredible for many reasons. It also puts some perspective on scientists' claims of when it is actually living or not. Very interesting hillbilly.. Thanks for posting this.

I think this speaks more to the Partial Birth Abortion, which can be performed surprisingly late in the pregnancy. Partial Birth Abortions are regularly performed beyond the gestation periods from which babies are now surviving and flourishing.
