I feel you PAW! FL having all come back and play for dip Sh.., where we would embrace them not only financially, but imagine the fan support they would have. Heaven knows, I loathe FL about as much as KY!

We seem to have to get another true big. If two guys get in foul trouble then we are in big trouble in the middle. I think this means Ament is not coming back.

Haralson - 6'7"
Juke - 6'7"
Brown - 6'8"
Washington - 6'9"
Leu - 6'9"
Rubin - 6'10"

If we get Ament back, then add another 6'10" guy.

That is a decent amount of height. Not all that far off from this year's team, especially with Ament added.

Sometimes, I think we may overstate the height angle. For instance, it was not 7'3" Aday Mara that beat Tennessee (Okay, he and the ref's did get us into foul trouble). It was Lendeborg.

Right. Go back to that Houston Cougars 2025 squad. They rotated 3 bigs. They were 6-7, 6-8, and 6-7. That team are us alive inside and was a bumbled possession from beating Florida for a NC.

Word I’m hearing is that Ox is not interested in pursuing a 5th even if this happens. You saw a bunch of seniors entering the portal. I’d have to think if they grant this exemption, they’d have to grant a waiver. I’m completely against this rule. You can throw out all records.

You’d need a total restructuring of the offense. This would justify it, but based on Barnes’ hire for assistant, he isn’t tweaking his offense much if at all.

Last article I seen said he was just outside the top 15 and his camp thinks if he waits he could easily be the first pick in next years draft..if that is the case then it’s a no brainer to come back.personally i think his body isn’t built for that kind of contact yet..we’ve had players come through here in the past that are currently riding the bench in the NBA who could have easily been lottery picks if they waited.

If juke doesn’t come here based off ament decision then he’s a fool..jukes hype is coming from is performance in March. pairing the two takes pressure off both of them while still getting their numbers.i just don’t see juke doing that. makes absolutely no sense.

Barnes is the only coach I’ve seen who’s not adapted his style of play to what the game is today and still averages sweet 16’s and elite 8’s that says a lot about his coaching ability in a world full of shooters..he’ll never change his style of play even after he retires.hes just a firm believer of there still being value in the paint. it’s frustrating at times when we need 3’s but it’s consistent.i agree with you 100%
