2026 Vols Transfer Portal Thread

Bro at the end of the day who cares about assists. Get Hill, Haralson, Juke, and one cheaper option and we won’t need a true pg given THAT much raw scoring ability. Not to mention that we have Burg and Henderson off the bench who have experience at PG. 2019 Houston Rockets style.
The team that famously never even made it to a conference finals, the final 4 of the nba

I know you said you aren’t as plugged in there, but do you think there is a point soon where if they don’t get a clear answer they move on and bring a point guard to campus for a visit?

I’m just getting Rodney Rice flashbacks from last year where we leaned on our strong relationship and were convinced it was going to turn our way and it never did.
I think they have a PG on campus by the weekend, whether that forces Tanner’s hand or not we’ll see. He has less than a week to get in the portal or we know at that point he’s no longer an option.

I'm just a little concerned about Ames. I just went through and looked at a few of his games against ranked opponents, and it seems like his shooting drastically gets worse. 3-11 v Duke. 3-12 v Louisville. 5-13 v Clemson. 4-10 v UVA.

Disagree, we need a PG regardless

As I’ve said multiple times, they want Hill here regardless.
Do you feel like it's more of a Hill or Harris, then?

Tanner (or PG), Hill, Ames, Harris, Lundblade... that's a lot of 1-3 guards that'll want the minutes. Of course, an awesome problem for a coach to have, but still, only so many minutes to go around.

i see what you’re saying, but that squad would still need a PG no lie. good pg would get us over the top

No, I don’t.

I know this draft class is deep, but I wonder why Juke doesn’t got much draft buzz? He’s 6’6-6-7, and can score on all 3 levels while averaging over 20
