Are we rebuilding the entire roster around DeWayne Brown and Ethan Burg? I didn't expect to lose so much. Oh well. I trust the Deacon to put something together. More worried about the women's team. Not as much confidence in Coach Kim.

Apologies if already posted. This kid from Belmont would be an interesting add. Good defender and passer at 6’9”. The familiarity with Lundblade would be a plus also.

We need to run a more precise, and efficient offense. Having a playmaking big paired with a shooter like Lundblade and a solid PG could do wonders for our team.

We will always be a 🔝 25 or better defensive team. We’ll only make a FF when we refine our offensive system.

Think we need go beyond the Belmont pipeline to get the players we need for the next step

Guessing we can take NC State off the list of possible suitors for Boswell; part of me thinks he'll be one of the ones that comes back to CRB hat in hand begging to be let back on the team (read somewhere yesterday that Rick has "left the door open" for any who want to return)

That was my first thought - I guess he’s not going to be getting help having NC State as a landing spot. Hello UNC-Asheville.

Ehh. Idk.

Rick is a shot quality coach. Basically every player has a list of “you are allowed to take these shots in these situations. And you are not alowed to take these shots”.

It’s a coaching decision and there are always going to be players and always have been players that get frustrated by it. Especially mommas lol.

To be clear, I don’t think there is anything wrong with Rick’s approach.

But I had worried that Rick giving Ament a bright green light and effectively coddling him in a way that he doesn’t afford to other players could exacerbate the issue this year. And maybe that happened some.

yeah, i totally get what you’re saying on that. i know that rick limits shot attempts on some players, but i feel like to have green light like Ament & JG you got to be able to create. i just don’t think he has anything off the dribble imo.
