You could even argue that the something extra Tanner has is another year of experience. Tanner's freshman numbers at Vandy were actually pretty bad despite playing 20 mpg. He only averaged 5.7 pts, 1.9 assts, and shot 26.6% from 3.It’s dumb and non-specific to say he’s so “well-rounded”, but I haven’t seen many players with his complete skill-set. First step, speed, quickness, release, shot, nose for assists, ability to drive, free throws etc. Chris’s Chandler analogy is on the money, but he’s got something extra.
File it under "what could have been", but I wonder what kind of jump a guy like Chandler would have made from FR to SO year had we gotten a chance to see it.
