I had the same kinda post typed out, but I didn't want to take your job away from you. Gotta feed the kids and all.

OK, here's my prediction:

Today: Washington (check)
Friday: Hill
Saturday: Harris
Sunday: Hastings
Monday: Tanner
Some day, some way: Ament

Like I said, its not rocket silence.

They’ve said it would be only be one of Massamba or Burg, so that still leaves the possibility of Burg using that spot, but we’ll see. I don’t think Tennessee or Burg is in any rush so that’s a good thing.

What BTO said, and Ament (a non-zero chance). I would assume he would take Burg's spot, in the unlikely event that it all went down as listed.

Yeah, realistically that is probably for the best, but he has probably about reached his potential. I was looking forward to how Barnes could transform Massamba though.

Yeah not much room to grow for him he is an old player with two years of basketball left. But he did get more comfortable as the season went on so he could be just another option to handle ball for whoever our starting point guard will be.

Portal closes, what, Tuesday? And that’s just for them to watch the video or whatever they have to do. I think the school has an extra day or two to actually process it. If it were me in his shoes, I’d absolutely want to wait till the last possible minute to enter - possibility of driving the price up aside, I just wouldn’t want to be constantly hounded if I was still attending class, etc.

I think it’s in their best interest to delay to see if anyone gets desperate and ups the money or bursts in late with a godfather offer, especially if you know you’ve got a spot waiting for you with a nice bag.
