Fresh off shoulder surgery and playing limited minutes last year as a true freshman? Not to be too down on the kid but he can’t be the starting point guard and I don’t expect Rick would want that.

With the medical advances now - I don’t think injuries are as big of a deal anymore. Tatum came back from an Achilles within a year.

I don’t think every top guy is top 50…when you consider how many piece top teams are taking you gotta expand well past 50 for “top guys” imo

Last year it seemed like we focused on big targets & then scrambled when they didn’t hit. This year seems like we’ve been very prepared and focused on landing the guys we bring in.

The only worry is if you get a bad draw and get a team like Florida (sounds like 2 of the bigs will be back and 50/50 chance on Haugh) in the elite 8 and their bigs just dominate you. All that talent in the guard/SF positions may not matter if a team like that can big boy you for 50 in the paint.

I like that Rick has been landing these players. None of them are necessarily top targets, but all are high rated contributors.

And the next 2 big targets are both flirting with the NBA.

Hopefully Hill gets done, all this buzz about Nate makes me wonder if they keep a spot open just in case.

I love you both equally, it was a serious question, shame on me for thinking I would get a serious answer.

Time and time again the same group freaks out, questions the staff, mocks other posters, calls out “insiders” etc etc when the portal doesn’t open with 5 commits like they expect it to. Ultimately Barnes puts together a team, wins 20+ games, makes the Elite 8 and those same posters look foolish for the temper tantrum. So I was genuinely asking why continue doing it? Why not maybe try giving a little patience and grace, maybe trusting that the staff and Rick know what they’re doing? Not saying they are above criticizing, but why not maybe wait just a little bit until doing so?

Listen, i definitely freak out and overreact. I will absolutely admit that lol. I definitely don’t mock other posters or call out insiders tho. I have no reason to do any of that and also appreciate the information regardless of what it is. To answer your question…i’m not sure. Maybe I have a severe case of BVS or maybe that’s just how i am.
