You know you got to think that Vandy not being able to bring any transfers in yet. Has to help us in some way to potentially getting Tanner. Meanwhile the Vols are following the blueprint and bringing in straight shooters. Vandy is not giving him any reason to stay right now.

It's better that we give Dwayne Brown Carey's role. Dwayne is smoother in creating shots around the basket and has 3 more years to develop. I would have preferred to keep Carey over losing him but I think he would have a hard time sitting being our 3rd and more likely our 4th big. Rather bring in another high celing mid major who just wants an opportunity to be our 4th guy.

We thought Estrella would have two more years to develop as well... I agree with your take on Brown being in the role that Carey played, but we simply cannot count on Brown staying at Tennessee for the next 2 years beyond this one in the world of college basketball right now, and I'd like CRB to maximize his skill because I do think he can be a very valuable player
