If it comes to be true. NCAA would have valid grounds to investigate for tampering and Vanderbilt would hand over any evidence. At this time being vague gives plausible deniability until TT actually makes himself able to be contacted after entering portal. Till then we just look for context clues.I don't understand why Basilio is so reluctant to use Tanner's name. It was cute two weeks ago when it was still pretty under wraps, but his name is out there pretty prevalently. Even been mentioned by name by callers and commenters in his YT chat.
Honestly, I would say no. Only because there isn’t a true point guard on that roster. Everything else would be great thoWould you be happy with this group and the price point?

That has nothing to do with a shock jock mentioning his name on his radio program, though. The NCAA isn't going to come to Tony Basilio and start asking questions. If it comes to be true. Maybe he's giving Vandy time to see if they are willing to pony up the bucks. Maybe he just wants to see the supporting cast at UT, which is still in flux. Maybe he's entertaining offers from a number of other schools. Lots of things could be in play. Trying to push him early might be the wrong tactic. If you've got your #2 PG choice ready to commit, then you push him, but not until then. He’s had a ton of time and UT (if reports are true) has given him every he could want. What’s left to think about? Stay or go.
All great players. But you need at least one real PG and a bit more shooting in the frontcourt imo.Would you be happy with this group and the price point?

Perhaps, but you could also say that a potential supporting cast would be waiting to see who the PG is. You could say other players may be more open to coming it TT was on board, so that can go both ways. Time is of the essence now.Maybe he's giving Vandy time to see if they are willing to pony up the bucks. Maybe he just wants to see the supporting cast at UT, which is still in flux. Vandy roster not looking that great. That can’t help them in keeping him.Perhaps, but you could also say that a potential supporting cast would be waiting to see who the PG is.
