You wouldn't want to lose all of them, but I think we can live with the idea of keeping one of Boswell/Evans, Burg/Henderson (or neither, if need be), and one of Phillips/Carey... as long as the minutes get more consolidated AND TN is willing to upgrade at those positions to replace the person leaving. Hard not to get attached to our guys, and I would also totally be fine if they all stay assuming TN still spends big in the portal, but thinking big picture there are a lot of ways to improve the roster through the portal OR player development and I believe in the staff to move with the punches.

Nope, you got it right. He put up 30 pts against us almost two years ago. Lost his mom unexpectedly shortly before our game after losing his dad the year prior.

I agree, but I don't think you have to retain players just to retain five players. Would not mind Boswell coming back at all, but so many other people can offer what he wants to be known for, but do it far better aside from his toughness. Everything flowed and worked so much better once Evans got adjusted to the speed of the game and could play the 3. It is pretty clear that he needs to be the starter moving forward imo

That was how he built it all, with a lot of continuity and guys sticking it out. Before DK4 we had a lot of 5th and 6th year guys in the program that were the base. Problem is I don't think thats even possible in todays game.
