2026 Vols Basketball Target List

Would get a little more excited if his Dad was not on staff at Texas.
I got a little intel today that is slightly encouraging. Nothing definitive but any means. But most fans, rightly so, assume it will be tough because his dad is at Texas. I was told it is obviously possible that he goes to Texas but it is more likely he forges his own path. Purdue or UT (the real UT) are most likely destination depending on visits.

I too have heard in the past when I asked that the kids and parents preference was for him not to attend Texas. With that said it feels like we’ve heard that before about kids and parents and usually it’s just to create some drama around their decision, and understandably so, who knows.

As for other schools involved with him, Purdue landed Jacob Webber so I would think that makes them less attractive to Ogden, but landing arguably the 2 best shooters in the class is something Purdue would also do lol.

Is Ogden considered to be that good of a shooter? We could use a nice injection of that, so I want him even more, now, if that is the case.

“What makes Bo Ogden such an intriguing shooter is his constant movement. Having the positional size at 6-foot-6, he is comfortable knocking them down off movement or catch and shoot. Where Ogden developed his game this summer was with his handle, showing some interesting self-creation pieces. Playing with the ASAK Elite program on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, Ogden shot a staggering 46.3 percent on 7.4 attempts per game.”

I understand the sentiment. I have two boys in sports and would love the chance to coach them in college (were I to be a college coach). At the same time, I know it's important for them to find their own way in the world and college is the soft landing zone for learning independence. I know it was good for me. Sounds like solid parents he has.

7.4 attempted 3’s or 7.4 attempted shots?
