Even if it isn't Tanner, the PG position is the absolute key for any basketball team in any league and in any season. We have to get a stud from the portal. If Barnes fails to land that guy, it essentially sets a hard cap on the season and that cap is way, way short of the elite 8.I’m sure he is going to expensive to sign but whatever it is, the Vols need to make it happen

And that's the big question/concern. Same concern with Phillips. I know "stuff" happens, but some players are just injury magnets. Not saying you cast a player aside at the first injury, but how do you plan around guys who've had issues for multiple seasons? One might argue that it's fool's gold to do so.He may have the best shooting touch of any Tennessee center or close to 7 foot player that I've seen here. If he can stay healthy he certainly is at least All conference.
